To develop low-cost manufacturing techniques and control systems for Organ-on-a-Chip (OOC) devices; investigate biodegradable scaffold materials for tissue formation at the micro-scale; investigate the role of endocrine-disrupting hormones on cancer initiation using co-cultured cells within OOC devices; develop 3D tissue models to understand the aetiology of syndromes associated with the microbiome.
