What do Brunel graduates do?
The Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education (DLHE) survey provides a snap shot of a very short amount of time after graduating. It asks graduates what their main activity was six months after completing their studies. When interpreting this data it is important to be aware that one growing national trend is for many students to delay their job applications until graduating, preferring to focus on achieving the highest grade possible. Job search strategy is often about getting a ‘foot in the door' as a stepping stone into graduate level positions. Other graduates may initially continue with their part-time job while they explore their options after graduating.
