The vision is to encourage small businesses to adopt existing cloud hosted digital technologies, with results being an increase in levels of company productivity, measured by changes in revenue, output, and employee satisfaction. The objective is to trial how these results are best achieved.
Cloud based technologies will be delivered to young and ambitious firms with 0 to 9 employees (in the four areas in which the trial is operating; Growth Hubs in London, Lancashire, Oxfordshire, and Innovation Birmingham).
The research team utilise AI (Artificial Intelligence) and simulation to uncover new insights into how micro and small companies evolve – particularly the impact of cloud-based digital services.
