Dani leads Business School’s Consulting Group and specialises in Corporate Finance and Audit, bringing the heart of business to the lecture theatre through the Practitioners’ perspective, enriching the learning experience of MBA, PG and UG students.
She has 19 years of experience in leading investigatory work for multinationals with expertise in cross-border M&A transactions. Some of her recent clients include Renault, Ericsson, Kone, Hutchinson and Savola Group. Dani has also held directorship roles in financial management and treasury in Industry before embarking on higher education.
In 2021 she was selected as a member of the Technical Committe of ICAEW's Corporate Finance Faculty, contributing to policy development and responding to consultations by governments, regulators and other professional bodies.
Her career started in 2002 in the UK and after qualifying as a chartered certified accountant in 2007, she joined Deloitte Corporate Finance. In 2016, in a brave and entrepreneurial move, she joined the leadership team of a boutique start up consultancy, Frontier Partners, to set up its transaction services arm. She currently serves as a Partner and Head of Transactions of the firm.
Having worked in over 9 countries across Europe and the Middle East, she uses her cultural agility building collegial networks to bridge the gap between professional practice and theoretical knowledge.
I am a Fellow member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), hold an MBA from Derby University and am currently completing my Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice (PGCAP).
I am a full time Lecturer in Accounting, Auditing, Corporate & Business Finance at Brunel Business School.
