Subject Review & Reports

From 1997-2001, the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education carried out subject review of a broad range of subjects taught in higher education institutions. Before October 1997 subject review (previously called 'teaching quality assessment', or ‘TQA’) was carried out by the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE).

Further details of the review process – including the way in which graded profiles were produced for each subject – can be found on the QAA web site, together with subject overview reports published on the completion of each subject assessment cycle.

A subject review report was published following each assessment visit, and the following table provides links to each of these for the Brunel subject review visits.
